Aside from Policy Analysts and City Managers, public administration grads can also become Program Evaluation Managers or Deputy Ministers someday.

In no way can anybody simplify the scope that comes with a masters in public administration. It is a high level of interdisciplinarity that can be enjoyed when it comes to public administration programs. Apart from economics, gender studies, urban planning, and sociology, political science is also a field of study when it comes to MPA coursework.

Usually, the type of individuals who enroll in masteral programs are professionals that simply want to achieve more when it comes to their career. Although these positions are more demanding, the pay is better and the professional's stature will greatly be improved. MPA programs remain known to a limited few. Nevertheless, the United States government mentioned a potential rise in public administration careers over the next couple of years. The same applies to Canada, especially since baby boomers are expected to retire soon.
